In recent years, trade in goods and services between the Philippines and Bahrain have been steadily increasing. Bahrain is among the top 100 destinations of the Philippines’ consumer manufactures, food, and industrial manufactures. The Philippines, meanwhile, source its aluminum and other base metal ores and concentrates requirements from Bahrain.
Seven thousand one hundred seven islands make up the Philippines. This archipelago, with more than 85 million inhabitants, is found on the east of Vietnam and south of Taiwan. It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east, Celebes Sea on the south and the South China Sea to the west and north.
The archipelago is divided into three main islands: Luzon, the biggest island group, Visayas and Mindanao. Manila, the capital city, is situated in Luzon.
